Social Media Manager
Part Time (approx. 10-15 hours/week)
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing, creating, scheduling, and reporting on all social clients for 214 Interactive.
Content creation - responsible for creating all social post content, including graphics, based on client specials, events, and special requests.
Responsible for creating content when client is unable to provide event or special information based on website information and/or industry news.
Create content calendars for client and manager approval in Google Sheets one month at a time
Schedule all content in social media scheduling system and posting manually when necessary.
Monitoring social media scheduling system to ensure posts are posting at the scheduled times and adjusting if errors occur
Meet with supervisor bi-weekly to discuss which posts are performing well, suggest budget for high performing items, photo requests, etc.
Potential for promotion to include paid social campaigns
This person needs to be a self-starter and able to work with little direction in times of high client volume. The Social Media Manager should also be trustworthy with multiple, high-profile client’s login information and exercise discretion at all times. Strong grammatical skills and attention to detail are vital.
The ideal candidate for this role will also be up-to-date on current social media trends, including hashtags, new promotional ideas, and fresh ideas for utilizing current social channels. A witty sense of humor is also a huge plus.
